Wilbur "Billy" S. Hemby is a native of Kinston, North Carolina. He graduated from Arendell Parrott Academy in 1980, where he was a member of the Beta Club and captain of the varsity soccer team and varsity tennis team. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1984. At Carolina he was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and wrote articles for The Carolina Free Press campus newspaper. He completed a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from North Carolina Central University in 1989, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed his CFP designation (license 055852) in 1996 after fulfilling the educational requirements of the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado in 1995 and passing the Board of Certified Financial Planners comprehensive examination. He has concentrated on financial services addressing the interests of estate conservation, retirement, investments, and insurance for individuals and closely held businesses. He is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table for accomplished production in establishing business for life insurance, annuities, long-term care, disability, and health insurance.

He is an associate member of The North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (Member ID 52361). He conducts CPE credit courses for CPA’s on topics such as estate planning, retirement planning, business continuation, life insurance, and annuities.

He will serve as lead financial services partner for PPC Financial Group, LLC, an affiliate of Pittard Perry & Crone, Inc. Hemby is a representative of AXA Advisors, LLC, an AXA Financial Business.
